Mission and Background Story
This application and interactive solution is a collaboration between Scania and The Technical Museum that the team from Spree developed for The Technical Museum and its exhibition Zer0City.
Scania wanted to have a copy of the solution in their showroom for visitors to explore their future vehicle, the Scania NXT.
I was assigned the mission to redesign the application according to Scania’s brand and profile and update the GUI.
Follow the NXT Scania for 24 hours
THE PROJECT – Pick up passengers in the morning traffic, pick up packages and deliver, check the NXT Scania’s battery levels, and find the nearest loading station. Make your choice of transport and best roads for a 24-hour route.
In this project, I worked alone with a developer when the application already had its functions; it was a relatively small project.

My Role
My role in this project was to work with the old application with UX/UI design. The application was in need of an update.
I worked with the GUI after Scania’s profile and worked a bit more on its accessibility. For doing so, I created bigger buttons, made the content more readable, and worked more on its UI and color contrasts.
I had access to Scania’s graphic profile and branding for the new updates, changing all the UI and graphics such as buttons, fonts, and colors.
This project was only a team of two people: myself and a developer. Therefore, my role was also, together with the UX/UI designer role, the Project Manager and I had close meetings with the clients at Scania.
I designed wireframes in Illustrator and the prototype in Figma.
Research
My research involved mostly analyzing Scania’s brand and graphic profile for the right Scania look and feel. I also researched the old application through user testing and by reading materials from previous designers.
