Mission and Background Story
Organizations and companies that need to seek adjustment support register with Kammarkollegiet to be part of this support system.
Kammarkollegiet’s administration users needed an IT solution and digital system to manage these registrations.
The administration team at Kammarkollegiet required an easy-to-use system that could help them organize tasks for administering over 800 adjustment companies and organizations.
DP1 – Register and un register
THE PROJECT – Register and unregister adjustment companies or administration companies, sort, search, and find companies by name or organization number.
In this project, I worked with a team from B3 Grit and B3 Innovation in an Agile structure using Scrum methods.
The team consisted of 10 members: Back-End developers, Front-End developers, project managers, and a UX/UI designer.
For this project, we collaborated with the client—a small team of project managers and experts from Kammarkollegiet. They had already conducted research, completed a case study, and sketched a couple of wireframes. This work had been done over a two-year period before my team became involved in the project and was intended to serve as the basis for getting started.

My Role
My role in this project was to work as the UX lead and the sole UX/UI designer. Besides working in Agile with the development team, I worked closely with the experts and project managers at Kammarkollegiet to review their early wireframes, research, and other materials.
I started designing simple wireframes based on Kammarkollegiet’s early work and created a prototype in Figma for them to interact with.
I noticed early in the process that their wireframes needed many more functions than they had anticipated, and the design process became much more complex than we initially thought.
I had to focus more on the sorting and search functions to make the process smoother and easier for the administration users.
During the prototype process, I developed the design library in Figma according to Kammarkollegiet’s graphic profile.

Research
My research involved analyzing and summerizing previouse material from Kammarkollegiets case studies.
Interviews and gathering useful information from Kammarkollegiets experts.
Reading and analyzing materials of the complex system about adjustment support, administration companys, employer and employer support to understand their different hierarki.
Problems
- The Clients case study, research and wireframs was in need of an update when their work had been started two years earlier.
- The clients material and early wireframes helt to much copy that made the registration of the adjustment companys and organisations to complex.
- Too many steps in the registration that only confuses the user.
Solutions
- In my early design process I discovered the solution was in need of more functions and that the data was a bit more complex and needed more sorting and search functions. The research had to be more updated.
- Cut down the copy and material and make sense of what really was needed to make the registration more smoother for the user. Together with the Kammarkollegiets experts and project manager I manage to sort the their material and cut a lot of copy.
- Cut down steps for a smoother journer for the user.
